Elon Musk created the custom of talking about dogecoin (DOGE) on Twitter. Since the end of 2020, Tesla's owner has made statements on the social network about a meme-based cryptocurrency. Now, the billionaire has returned to talking about digital currency, saying he supports the sale of crypto by the biggest holders to solve the current concentration problems.
This Sunday (14), Elon Musk tweeted: “If the biggest dogecoin holders sell most of their coins, they will have my full support”. He then concluded that “too much concentration is the only real problem” of cryptocurrency.
In addition, on Monday (15) the tycoon complemented his publication, saying that he "will literally pay for them to simply empty their accounts". After its tweet yesterday, the price of dogecoin fell more than 14%, as indicated by the CoinDesk index. The meme cryptocurrency, however, has recovered all this devaluation throughout today.
