According to data from Google Trends, since January 28, searches on the largest search engine in the world for the term "Dogecoin" are superior to searches for "Bitcoin". Interest in the currency was driven by a famous series promoting the digital asset. The strong demand for cryptocurrency caused Dogecoin to skyrocket more than 800% in the last week, leading the asset to be among the 10 most valuable cryptocurrencies in the world in terms of total market value.
